Growing up in Eufaula, Alabama, Ragan spent much time learning about the importance of family traditions, growing a love of antiques and travel, and enjoying time spent around the table at her grandparent’s historic home. So much of Ragan’s appreciation for life came from her maternal grandmother and namesake, Frances Ragan, who not only taught her about the importance of tradition but also how to boldly make her own way. Ragan has often said that, “Frances was a strong woman before it was en vogue for women to be strong, she was a businesswoman before women were in business.”
As Ragan entered a new season of her life, most often referred to as her “post-40 alter ego”, she decided to lean into her namesake even more so by encouraging herself to live presently with a little bit of flair. With this new enthusiasm to take advantage of all that life has to give, Ragan began to share her colorful inspiration, must-have products, favorite travel spots, and more with her Instagram community. Her hope is that through her website, Instagram, and travel planning services, she will continue to inspire herself and others to take the trip, wear the hat, use the silver, and ride the bike.
